This paper carries out a comparative study on the cooling effect of different ventilation systems in electric multiple unit (EMU) inspection workshop in hot summer and cold winter zone based on the measured data. The results show that the design air change rate of the roof mechanical exhaust system should be 2-4 h-1. The air change rate of the direct evaporative cooling air supply system should be 3-4 h-1. The induction ventilation system is recommended to use the system form of air supply in the middle and exhaust on both sides, and the air change rate of mechanical air supply and exhaust should be 2 h-1. Each ventilation scheme can meet the comfort requirement of wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT) limit of 30 ℃ under the recommended design value. Through comprehensive comparison of the schemes, the mechanical exhaust system has the lowest cost, the induction ventilation system has the best effect, and the evaporative cooling air supply system is suitable for improving the local thermal environment.
